Hollywood star Anne Hathaway has expressed her openness to collaborating with Priyanka Chopra, sparking excitement among fans of both actors.
In a recent interview with a news publication, Hathaway revealed that although she and Chopra have met and discussed various topics, the possibility of working together had not yet been explored.
The two actors, both ambassadors for luxury brand Bulgari, have encountered each other on multiple occasions, most notably at a recent event organised by the brand.
“We discussed a few things that night; that one hasn’t come up yet, but what are we going to do? This is a great idea; how do we make this happen? I would love that clearly and now my brain is on fire. I’ll let you know when Priyanka and I have connected,” Hathaway shared with the news broadcaster.
Their encounters date back to 2022 in Paris, where they met alongside South Korean girl group BLACKPINK’s Lisa at a Bulgari event.
The duo’s friendship was further cemented in 2023 when they were joined by Zendaya at another Bulgari gathering.
Prior to these meetings, both Hathaway and Chopra have publicly expressed admiration for each other.
Hathaway confessed to being a fan of Chopra, even admitting to Googling her every night.
In a previous interview, while promoting her film Serenity in 2019, Hathaway expressed awe at Chopra’s skincare routine, stating, “Priyanka Chopra’s skin. Right? I have nothing on her. My God! So, right now I am online every night going… ‘What is she… how did she do it’.”
Currently, Hathaway stars in the romantic comedy The Idea of You, alongside Nicholas Galitzine, while Chopra is immersed in filming her upcoming Hollywood project Heads of State.
As speculation mounts over a potential collaboration between the two actors, fans eagerly await to witness Hathaway and Chopra’s chemistry come to life on screen.
