Guwahati: Guwahati will host the Japanese Film Festival (JFF), offering film enthusiasts a captivating cinematic experience of Japanese cinema this January.
Cine lovers in Guwahati are invited to experience the magic of Japanese cinema at the Japanese Film Festival (JFF), which will take place from January 17-19 at PVR City Centre in the City Centre Mall on GS Road.
The festival promises an immersive experience with a lineup of nine critically acclaimed and audience favourite films, offering a diverse blend of drama, animation, and cultural storytelling.
The film to be screened on January 17 is ‘Godzilla Minus One’, which is a gripping revival of the legendary monster gaga.
Akira, the revolutionary anime classic that changed the world of animation, heartwarming family drama Mom, Is That You?!, All the Long Nights, a poignant story of love and perseverance, and Broker, a soulful exploration of unexpected human connections, will be screened on January 18.
Besides, 5 Centimeters Per Second, a breathtakingly beautiful anime on love and distance; Monster; Shoplifters, the Academy Award-winning masterpiece that redefines family bonds and The Imaginary, a whimsical animated adventure that inspires wonder, will be screened on January 19.
