Mumbai: Grammy-winning musician John Mayer is set to perform in India for the first time, with a one-night-only show scheduled at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on January 22, 2026.
Mayer, renowned for his masterful blend of pop, rock, and blues, has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and collaborated with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, and Alicia Keys.
His live performances are celebrated for intimate lyrics, extraordinary guitar work, and spontaneous musical moments that have captivated audiences globally.
“India has long been on my list of places to play, not just for the vibrancy of its culture but for the way music lives in the everyday lives of people here. To finally perform in Mumbai feels both humbling and exhilarating,” Mayer said in a statement.

The concert is being produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live. Tickets for the concert will be available through an exclusive limited pre-sale starting October 12, 2025, with general ticket sales opening on October 14, 2025.
