SHILLONG: Good news for electronic music enthusiasts in Shillong!

World-renowned DJ and music producer, Alan Walker, prepares to take centre stage in the city on September 28.

The highly anticipated India leg of the “WalkerWorld” global tour has been officially announced by Sunburn Arena.

Spanning from September to October this year, the 10-city tour will commence in Kolkata on September 27, followed by a thrilling performance in Shillong on September 28, and continue its journey across Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Pune, Mumbai, and culminating in Hyderabad on October 20.

Expressing his eagerness to return to India, Alan Walker conveyed his excitement, stating, “India, I can’t wait to be back on my biggest tour ever. I had a great run on my last visit to Bengaluru, and my team and I are working extensively to create an unmatched show experience. The energy in India is always exciting and hospitable, and I can’t wait to create some unforgettable moments together with my desi fans.”

The maestro behind hits like Faded and On My Way, and more recently Who I Am, Alan Walker has amassed over 750 headlining shows, including performances at prestigious festivals such as Coachella and Tomorrowland.

At 26, Alan Walker has already left an indelible mark on the music industry.

With a staggering fan base of over 120 million followers across social platforms, 13 billion YouTube views, and 80 billion audio and video streams, his influence is undeniable.

Walker skyrocketed to fame in late 2015 with his chart-topping track Faded, which has since amassed over 1.9 billion Spotify streams and 3.6 billion YouTube views, solidifying his status as a global music sensation.
