Following the unprecedented success of Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar and the strong demand from South Indian markets, the makers have geared up for a massive pan-India rollout.
The sequel is scheduled for a grand Eid 2026 release on March 19, 2026, with the film releasing simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
Despite releasing only in Hindi, Dhurandhar has witnessed an exceptional response from South through positive word-of-mouth, social media virality and repeat viewership. South distributors and exhibitors consistently flagged strong audience demand for dubbed versions, with fans actively calling for the film to be made available in regional languages.
Taking cognisance of this demand not just in South India but South Indian audiences globally, the makers have decided to expand the franchise’s reach with Dhurandhar 2, ensuring audiences across regions can experience the film in their local language.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar 2 aims to significantly raise the scale in terms of narrative ambition and cinematic spectacle. The sequel is positioned as the next major chapter in the high-octane action franchise.
