Scott will be in India as part of British singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran’s “÷ – = / x” Asia and Europe Tour, performing at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on March 16 and will reportedly take a detour to perform at Meghalaya’s capital, the local press reported.

Of late, Scott’s collaboration with Sheeran on this global tour has been immensely successful, prompting the selection of Shillong as his next stop in the musical journey, as confirmed by Rockski EMG, the event-management company.

Adding to the anticipation, Scott released his new single Light House in January, further keeping the fans on their toes for his upcoming performance.

Meanwhile, Sheeran’s return to India, after his previous performances in 2015 and 2017, has generated considerable excitement among fans. According to reports, youngsters’ go-to Prateek Kuhad is set to open for the Grammy winner.

Expressing his enthusiasm for including Shillong in his tour, Scott was drawn by the city’s stellar reputation among fellow artists, as stated by the organiser.

Scott’s rise to fame began with a memorable golden buzzer-moment on Simon Cowell’s show, British Got Talent, captivating audiences worldwide ever since.

The organisers also informed the local press that interested individuals can log into Rockskitickets.com for tickets for the event, starting today.
