Kohima: The Beauty & Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) is all set to hold 33rd edition of Miss Nagaland 2022 on December 9.
The Miss Nagaland 2022 event will be held from 5.30 pm at the Capital Cultural Hall at Kohima. It is part of the Hornbill Festival of Nagaland.
The Miss Nagaland 2022 will have three rounds – ethnic round, designer round and evening gown round. It is being supported by Nagaland Tourism and Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA).
Melekhoto Pucho, president of BASN said 13 contestants from Dimapur, Kohima, Phek, Mokokchung, Zunheboto, Peren, Niuland and Tseminyu districts will compete for the Miss Nagaland 2022 title.
The winner Miss Nagaland 2022 will win a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, Melekhoto Pucho said adding that the The 1st and 2nd runner-up will receive Rs 70,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively.
In addition to the cash award, the winner and the two runners up of Miss Nagaland 2022 will also get a lot of gift hampers and ambassador opportunities, Melekhoto Pucho said.
The BASN president said there will be six sub-titles at the Miss Nagaland 2022 event.
The sub-titles of Miss Nagaland 2022 are — Miss Talent, Miss Photogenic, Miss Perfect Ten, Queen of Hearts, Miss Beautiful Smile and Miss Multimedia. The sub title winners will get Rs 10,000 each along with gift hampers.
The organizers said all the 13 contestants will reach Kohima on December 1 and will go for grooming and will also train with the choreographers of the Miss Nagaland 2022 show.
Irene Dkhar – Miss Northeast 2022 and Eshanee Hatimuria 1st runner up of Miss Northeast 2022 will be the guest judges.
Ticket for the show in two categories at Rs 200 and Rs 500, and will be made available at Symphony Café Kohima and the venue.
