GUWAHATI: Zetta Farms has teamed up with Bokahola Tea Company to manage two large tea gardens in Assam, covering 6,000 acres.
Originally leased by Bokahola Tea Pvt Ltd from Assam Tea Corporation Ltd, this partnership is set for a decade.
The collaboration positions Zetta Farms as a major player in the global tea market, aiming to produce 35 lakh kilograms of tea annually, according to a recent official release.
The 10-year operational partnership includes managing two tea gardens and associated tea factories under Assam Tea Corporation Ltd.
Zetta Farms aims for both quantitative and qualitative improvements in tea production, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and community impact.
Rituraj Sharma, Zetta Farms Co-Founder, highlighted their broader mission, stating that the collaboration goes beyond business expansion.
