Maruti Suzuki will finally launch its debut electric vehicle for India, the e Vitara, in March this year.
Maruti’s first electric offering in India is expected to be priced from around Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric SUV was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.
While Maruti is yet to announce variant details for its electric SUV, based on the leaks, it will come in three broad variants: Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.
Industry sources suggested that the e Vitara is now arriving at showrooms prior to its launch. Customers can now also pre-book the e Vitara offline and at some dealerships.
The Maruti e Vitara gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 10.1-inch digital driver’s display and an Infinity sound system. Amenities like auto AC, ambient lighting, a 10-way powered driver seat along with ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and a wireless phone charger are also provided with this EV.

The car gets 2 battery pack options: a 49kWh (142bhp & 192.5Nm) and a 61kWh (172bhp & 192.5Nm).

The Maruti e Vitara is offered in six monotone colours: Nexa Blue, Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, Opulent Red, Bluish Black and four dual-tone choices which include the Arctic White, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver and Land Breeze Green with a Bluish Black roof.
