LG spotlights remarkable women in #BreakTheLabel campaign on Women’s Day

GUWAHATI: In commemoration of International Women’s Day, LG Electronics has unveiled its month-long #BreakTheLabel campaign.

The initiative aims to shine a spotlight on the achievements of women who have shattered stereotypes and excelled in unconventional fields.

The campaign commenced with a panel discussion at the LG Innovation Gallery in Guwahati on March 5, featuring inspiring women from diverse backgrounds who have made significant impacts in their respective domains.

Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Mr. Hong Ju Jeon, Managing Director, LG Electronics India, expressed his delight, said, “We are delighted to introduce our #BreakTheLabel campaign for International Women’s Day, driven by real-life inspiring stories full of optimism and dedication. Life’s Good when we empower women to defy stereotypes and pursue their aspirations, fostering a world of equality and opportunity.”

The lineup of speakers included Priyanka Mangesh Mohite, Sneha Rathor Khandelwal, Capt. Dr Sneha Sharma, Barkha Kaul, Shikha Khushu, and Shweta Mehta.

These exceptional women represent a spectrum of backgrounds and expertise, each leaving a profound mark in their field.

Mohite, Fearless Mountaineer & Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awardee, shared her insights, highlighting the importance of resilience and self-awareness in conquering challenges.

Khandelwal, Visionary Woman Entrepreneur and CEO of Sanfort Group of Schools, stressed on the crucial role of family support in women’s success and called for mutual empowerment among women.

Capt. Sharma, International Car Racing Formula 4 Ladies Champion and commercial pilot, underlined the need for women to boldly pursue their passions without apology, regardless of societal constraints.

The event also featured a meet & greet of influential entrepreneurs, including Malvica Saxena, Smriti & Kriti Singhal, and Aditi Gupta, who have carved their paths in various domains.

Through this discussion, LG honoured their resilience, determination, and unwavering spirit.

By amplifying the voices and stories of these trailblazing women, LG aims to inspire others to challenge societal norms and embrace their full potential.

Throughout the month-long campaign, LG will pay tribute to commendable journeys of women who have left indelible marks in their respective fields.
