GUWAHATI: Daikin Airconditioning India Pvt. Ltd. (DAIPL), a prominent player in the Indian air-conditioning sector, inaugurated its new office in Guwahati on Friday.
According to a statement by DAIPL, the strategically located office at 3rd Floor, Upasana Complex, Extension Building, Dr RP Road, Ganeshguri, Guwahati-06, will house key departments such as product sales, service, technical support, and other support functions.
This move is seen as a significant step in enhancing operations and enabling better engagement with both channel partners and customers in Assam.
The statement highlighted Daikin’s commitment to quality and elegance in its operations, aligning with the confidence the brand has gained across the state.
Daikin products, incorporating advanced technology from Daikin Global, aim to provide a cost-effective ownership experience, unrivalled in quality and longevity.
Kuldeepak Virmani, Senior Vice President & Executive Director, Daikin India, expressed optimism about the company’s aggressive approach in Assam.
Virmani highlighted Daikin’s substantial growth in East India, expecting to touch Rs 1000 crore in the current financial year, with plans to exceed Rs 1500 crore by FY 2025.
He underlined the company’s commitment to providing an unmatched consumer experience through a strong network of trained sales, service, and maintenance professionals.
In addition to the Guwahati office inauguration, Daikin India recently operationalised a new facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, spanning 75.5 acres.
The story further highlighted Daikin’s dedication to skill development in India through the Skill India Initiative.
Daikin bestowed an air-conditioning / HVAC lab to George Telegraph Training Institute in Guwahati, contributing to the enhancement of training in air conditioning to international standards.
This initiative, known as Daikin Centre of Excellence (CoEs), is part of Daikin’s commitment to skill development, offering students a platform to develop skills as per international standards in new technologies.
Kunal Basu, Regional Director (East), Daikin India, expressed the company’s commitment to excellence in technology and quality.
“The partnership with educational institutions aims to address skill development and youth unemployment challenges, making Indian youth more employable,” he said.
