Guwahati: HIL Limited, a subsidiary of the USD 3 billion CK Birla Group, has announced its rebranding to BirlaNu Limited, signalling a new chapter in the company’s growth and its commitment to innovation and excellence in the building products sector.

The rebrand reflects the company’s aspirations to expand its footprint and deliver world-class products and services across various industries.

With 32 manufacturing facilities across India and Europe and a presence in over 80 countries, BirlaNu is positioned as a global leader in building products.

The company’s diverse portfolio includes pipes, construction chemicals, putty, roofing materials, and more, catering to homeowners, builders, and designers alike.

Avanti Birla, President of BirlaNu, expressed the company’s vision, saying, “Our new identity, BirlaNu, reflects who we are at our core—a company always pushing forward. We believe in quality, innovation, and making products that stand the test of time. Our customers, including homeowners, builders, and designers, are at the heart of everything we do. From improving sustainability to bringing fresh ideas to construction, we’re crafting innovative buildings and structures that will last for generations.”

Akshat Seth, Managing Director and CEO of BirlaNu, outlined the company’s ongoing efforts to innovate and improve its offerings.

“We’re making significant strides to back this up. For instance, we’ve introduced Organic Based Stabilizers (OBS) in UPVC pipe manufacturing, a first in India, eliminating the use of heavy metals. Additionally, we’ve doubled our AAC block capacity in Chennai to 4 lakh cubic meters per year, creating one of the largest facilities in the country. We’re also expanding into the home and interiors space with our global premium flooring brand, Parador, soon to be launched in India.”

At the heart of BirlaNu’s new identity is a commitment to integrity, collaboration, and excellence.

The company aims to set new industry benchmarks while having a meaningful impact on the world.

More than just a name change, BirlaNu represents a renewed purpose to be a trusted partner in building the future.
