GUWAHATI: Over 350 businesswomen and entrepreneurs from across India have gathered for a four-day interstate meet of the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), hosted for the first time by FLO’s North-East chapter in Guwahati and Shillong.
Titled “Mystical NorthEast,” the annual event commenced in Guwahati, with the first two days scheduled in the city and the final two days in Shillong, according to an official statement.

This year’s program features a blend of intellectually stimulating discussions, entertainment, and networking sessions, along with a focus on learning and mentoring.
A key highlight is the “FLO Bazar,” an exhibition showcasing the rich art, handloom, textiles, and traditional culture of the region.
“The Interstate Meet provides a common platform for experience sharing, mentoring, and networking among our pan-India members,” said Joyshree Das Verma, President of FICCI FLO.
Speaking on the occasion, she emphasized the importance of the event in fostering connections and promoting women entrepreneurs across the country.
Verma added that hosting the event in the Northeast highlights the beauty, diversity, and potential of the region’s eight states, aiming to draw attention to their unique cultural and economic offerings.
This edition of the meet underscores FLO’s commitment to empowering women in business while showcasing the Northeast’s vibrant heritage to a national audience.
