GUWAHATI: In a bid to boost educational initiatives and nurture young talent, Bharti Airtel Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, has teamed up with Arena Animation to introduce the Design-a-Thon Challenge.

This innovative platform aims to leverage creative design solutions for enhancing educational tools within TheTeacherApp, a pioneering initiative by Bharti Airtel Foundation.

Mamta Saikia, CEO of Bharti Airtel Foundation, highlighted the challenge’s role in nurturing youth talent.

“Through TheTeacherApp, we introduce the Design-a-Thon challenge to empower the next generation of designers. This initiative not only showcases our dedication to fostering creativity but also reinforces our commitment to educational innovation,” she stated during the launch.

The challenge, expected to engage approximately 2,000 students from Arena Animation, offers participants a platform to showcase their skills and creativity.

The top performers will have the opportunity to secure internships and apprenticeships at Bharti Airtel Foundation, gaining invaluable experience in design and multimedia.

Dr. Anuj Kacker, CEO of Aptech Limited, highlighted the collaborative effort’s significance in nurturing creative talent.

“TheTeacherApp Design-a-Thon Challenge 2024 reflects our commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting creative skill-building,” he noted, underscoring Aptech’s dedication to driving social change through education.

The initiative aims not only to encourage innovation but also to instil a sense of purpose among young designers, inspiring them to contribute meaningfully to the education sector.

As the Design-a-Thon Challenge unfolds, it promises to pave the way for impactful educational solutions and empower the next generation of creative minds.

With a legacy of impacting over 3 million children, particularly in rural India, through programmes like Satya Bharti Schools and Quality Support Programme, the Bharti Airtel Foundation continues its mission to transform lives through education.

Through such initiatives, Bharti Airtel Foundation and Arena Animation envision a future where creativity and innovation drive transformative change in education, setting a precedent for youth empowerment and societal progress.
