Shillong: California-based [24]7.ai – a global leader in intent-driven customer solutions and contact center services – unveiled its new world class BPO facility at the Shillong Technology Park.
It is third delivery center of [24]7.ai in India. The company runs its operations across North, Central and South America and Philippines. Its customers include Fortune 500 companies.
Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma and minister for IT Hamletson Dohling on Saturday inaugurated the 25,000 square feet facility.
[24]7.ai will make significant investments in Meghalaya,with a primary focus on creating over 2,500 direct and indirect job opportunities for local youth across Meghalaya over the next two years.
The company’s international facilities will also offer team members the chance to pursue careers globally.
Putting Meghalaya on the global IT/ITeS map, given the company’s impeccable track record of building global hubs in the IT and ITeS sectors.
The BPO facility will be providing youths of Meghalaya the opportunity to work with globally renowned Fortune 500 companies, using new-age technology in the customer interaction space.
[24]7.ai has been operational in Shillong for over a year with a current headcount of 300 employees.
The new 400-seater, state-of-the-art facility at the Shillong Tech Park is spread over 25,000 square feet of space.
A vibrant interior design pays tribute to the people and culture of Meghalaya. Training rooms, breakout areas, a medical center and a cafeteria are part of the facility, which is designed to create an environment that is stimulating and inclusive for all.
