Guwahati: The Narangi Military Station in Guwahati hosted a one-hour meditation session for over 100 troops and their families to observe World Meditation Day.
The session was conducted under the expert guidance of spiritual counselors from Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, a globally renowned socio-spiritual educational organization affiliated with the United Nations.
The event aimed at raising awareness about the significance of meditation as a universal practice to foster mental clarity, emotional resilience, and inner peace.
The session focused on practical and accessible meditation techniques that are suitable for individuals from all walks of life and can be easily integrated into their daily schedules.
The spiritual counselors emphasized the importance of self-reflection, positive thinking, and mindfulness as tools to combat stress and enhance overall well-being.
The event began with an introduction to the principles of meditation, followed by practical demonstrations and a guided meditation session.
Participants actively engaged in the session and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to pause, reflect, and rejuvenate amidst their busy schedules.
Speaking on the occasion, a senior officer from Headquarters 51 Sub Area stated, “Meditation is not just a practice but a way of life that equips individuals with the strength to face challenges with a calm and composed mindset.
