Guwahati: After the tremendous success of last year’s event, Radisson Blu Guwahati is once again set to bring the magic of Kashmiri cuisine to the city. From February 15 to 24, Café B You, the hotel’s signature restaurant, will host the much-anticipated ‘Wazwan E Kashmir’ festival.

The event celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Kashmir, offering food lovers in Guwahati a chance to indulge in a selection of authentic, exquisite dishes.

Ankur Mehrotra, the General Manager of Radisson Blu Guwahati, expressed his excitement about the festival’s return: “The overwhelming response to the Kashmir Food Promotion last year inspired us to bring it back, bigger and better. Kashmiri cuisine is a true celebration of culture and taste, and we are thrilled to offer our patrons another opportunity to experience its magic.”

The festival will feature a specially curated buffet menu by renowned Chef Shabir from Pahalgam, who has returned to create a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.

Guests will enjoy iconic dishes like Harissa, crispy lotus fritters, and the fragrant Kahwa tea, along with a selection of other traditional Kashmiri delicacies.

Chef Shabir, reflecting on his return to Radisson Blu Guwahati, shared, “It’s an honour to bring the rich culinary traditions of Kashmir to the people of Northeast India once again. This year, I’ve pushed boundaries by introducing even more authentic Kashmiri specialties, alongside popular favourites like Mutton Rista, Gustaba, Tabak Maaz, Waza Kokur, Lahabi Kebab, and Nadru Yakhni. I hope to create another unforgettable dining experience for our guests.”

The immersive experience doesn’t stop at the food.

Café B You will be transformed with vibrant Kashmiri-themed décor, selfie booths for guests to capture memories, and staff dressed in traditional Kashmiri attire, further enhancing the cultural atmosphere of the event.

The ‘Wazwan E Kashmir’ festival will run from February 15 to February 24, from 7 pm to 11.30 pm at Café B You, Radisson Blu Guwahati.
