Guwahati: As part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility, Topcem Cement, North East India’s leading cement brand, has donated five state-of-the-art automated medical beds to Army veterans in collaboration with HQ 51 Sub Area, Narengi.
This initiative is aimed at supporting veterans who have been rendered immobile due to occupational hazards sustained during their active duty.
The advanced medical beds offer powered adjustments for backrest and leg rest positions, Hi-Lo height functions, Trendelenburg and reverse tilt capabilities, collapsible side rails, central-locking castors, and reliable battery backup systems.
These features significantly enhance patient comfort, safety, and the ease of daily care.
Dr. Anil Kapur, Senior President (Sales & Marketing), shared, “We have undertaken several social initiatives across different communities over the past years. However, this is the first time we have partnered with the defence forces for such an effort. We are deeply honoured to contribute to such a noble cause and extend our gratitude for the opportunity given to Topcem Cement to serve those who have served the nation.”
