Singer Monali Thakur steals spotlight at this college fest in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Assam down town University bid farewell to its annual college fest, “Attitude 2024”, with a crescendo of melodies as Bollywood’s musical sensation, Monali Thakur, graced the stage, leaving the audience in awe.

From February 22 to 24, the university campus transformed into a hub of talent and entertainment, drawing students and music aficionados from far and wide.

The festival, known for its vibrant energy and spirited performances, reached its pinnacle on the final day, as Monali took centre stage.

With an electrifying aura and a voice that resonated through every corner of the venue, Monali enchanted the audience with her soul-stirring renditions of iconic tracks such as Sawaar Loon and Moh Moh Ke Dhaage.

The crowd, spellbound by her magnetic presence, joined in harmony, creating an atmosphere charged with euphoria and musical bliss.

Reflecting on her experience, Monali said, “Performing at Attitude 2024 was an absolute delight. The enthusiasm of the audience was infectious, and I felt a deep connection with them through the power of music. Their passion fuelled my performance, making it an unforgettable night for all of us.”

The organisers of Attitude 2024 too showered praise on Monali Thakur for her stellar performance, acknowledging her contribution to the festival’s success.

“Monali’s electrifying presence and soulful voice added a magical touch to Attitude 2024. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to her and everyone who made this year’s festival a resounding triumph,” one of the organisers said.

As the curtains closed on the college fest, leaving behind a trail of cherished memories and musical moments, the spirit of camaraderie and artistic expression continued to resonate, promising an even brighter future for the college fest in the years to come.
