Guwahati: A joint collaborative meeting was held recently in Guwahati among Pratiksha Rainbow Group of Hospitals, Chorus Pratiksha Hospital, and Thailand-based Renovia-ABLS Academy Training Center for the American Board of Laser Surgery in Asia.
The meeting was initiated by the Emerging North-East Eco Forum (ENEEF), led by its founder and chairman Satyajit Aribam, with the vision of promoting medical tourism in the Northeast by integrating the region’s emerging wellness destinations into a unified healthcare and tourism network.
The joint initiative aims to provide evidence-based and culturally attuned wellness care through a combination of innovation, empathy, and excellence.
Both Satyajit Aribam and Dr. Staporn Jinaratana, Managing Director of Renovia ABLS Academy Training Center, Thailand, highlighted that Guwahati is fast emerging as a regional medical tourism hub, drawing clients from Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and other northeastern states.
Dr. Staporn, the only Certified Diplomate with Distinction from the American Board of Laser Surgery, USA, and with over 40 years of experience, is internationally acclaimed as a “Da Vinci” in aesthetic skin laser surgery. His collaboration with stakeholders in Northeast aims to introduce his world-renowned and patented aesthetic and wellness technologies to the region. A strategic partnership between Pratiksha Rainbow Group of Hospitals and Renovia–ABLS Academy Training Center, Thailand, has been established and is set to commence implementation by the end of 2025.
The joint project will bring advanced aesthetic, wellness, and regenerative technologies to the region, including non-surgical thread lifting, scar-free facelifts (SSC™ Technology), and the Soft Lasing Technique (SLT™) for personalized, safe laser treatments.
It will also offer stem cell therapy for skin rejuvenation, regenerative treatments for erectile dysfunction, fat-based breast augmentation, and comprehensive aesthetic gynecology solutions for female intimate health, all designed to deliver safe, effective, and minimally invasive results.
The interactive session was attended by Dr. Pramod Kumar Sharma from Pratiksha Group of Hospitals, Medical Director of Chorus Pratiksha Hospital, and numerous specialists in aesthetics, dermatology, and obstetrics & gynecology.
To further strengthen the collaboration, Renovia–ABLS Academy Training Center and Pratiksha Hospitals have partnered with ENEEF to promote safe, evidence-based wellness in Northeast India. The initiative focuses on responsible innovation through structured training, strict ethical supervision, and full compliance with national and international medical regulations, including ICMR standards and the National Guidelines for Stem Cell Research (2017), ensuring patient safety and transparency.
Dr. Staporn Jinaratana, Director of Renovia-ABLS Academy Training Center for the American Board of Laser Surgery in Asia, reaffirmed, “Our mission is to advance aesthetic medicine responsibly through scientific validation and rigorous training, avoiding unregulated commercialization.”
Satyajit Aribam, chairman and founder of Emerging North-East Eco Forum added, “We aim to drive innovation that benefits Northeast India while upholding clinical ethics, accountability, and evidence-based standards.”
To realize their long-term vision, the partners plan to establish a Regional Centre for Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine Training in Guwahati. The state-of-the-art facility will provide professional certification programs, conduct clinical research to support evidence-based practices, and promote medical tourism collaborations under strict governance and outcome- assessment mechanisms.
