In a tragic incident, a 31-year-old physiotherapist from Assam was reportedly found dead near his rented residence in Cuttack district of Odisha.
The deceased has been identified as Ruhan Kakati. His body was recovered on February 26.
According to the police, Kakati had moved to Olatpur village nearly four years ago after completing his physiotherapy studies in Assam to undertake an internship at the Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR).
Reports said that after finishing the internship, he continued to live in the area and practised physiotherapy locally.

Police sources said a co-tenant noticed him lying motionless near the premises early in the morning on Thursday and immediately alerted the Olatpur police station.
As of now, the exact cause of his death is yet to be determined. Preliminary investigation suggests that he may have fallen from the third floor of the building. He was reportedly living alone at the time of the incident.
Cuttack (Rural) Superintendent of Police Vinit Agrawal said the cause of death would be known only after the post-mortem examination.
