Guwahati: The Indian Army is inviting online applications from unmarried male candidates for selection as Agniveers for 2025-26 under Agnipath scheme.

Agniveers will be recruited from Barpeta, Kokrajhar, Dhubri, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Goalpara, Kamrup (Rural), Kamrup (Metro), Baksa, Nalbari, Udalguri, Darrang, Bajali, Tamulpur and South Salmara districts of Assam.

The recruitment of Agniveers will be carried out in two phases. In Phase I, online computer based written examination will        be conducted at selected centres in Lower Assam.

In Phase-II, recruitment rallies will be conducted in few places for candidates who passed the online written examination.

Online registration for the recruiting year 2025-26 started from March 12, and will remain open till April 10.

The candidates will be required to log into www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, check their eligibility status and create a personal profile.

The candidates on successful filling the application will be directed to HDFC portal through a link on the website to make payment of ₹250/- plus Bank charges as applicable.

The payment can be made through various payment options like Debit/ Credit cards, internet banking of HDFC and other Banks and UPI.

Candidates will be required to have an e-mail & mobile number which will be used for further communication by Indian Army.

Candidates will have to select five choices for the exam centre.  Candidates will need to enter Aadhaar number in online application and are advised to link Aadhaar to mobile number.

To provide candidates a proper understand on the online CEE a category wise link has been provided on Join Indian Army website.

The aspiring candidates have been advised to understand the format of the online written examination before appearing the actual CEE.

Animated videos on How to Register and How to Appear for Online CEE are also available on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Candidates can also raise any kind of query on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in for necessary clarifications.
