GUWAHATI: In response to the temporary restriction on train movement between Jatinga Lampur and New Harangajao stations under Lumding division of NF Railway, several measures have been taken to ensure the safety of track-related works. This temporary restriction, scheduled from 18:00 hours to 06:00 hours, along with a traffic block between Jatinga Lampur & New Harangajao from 09:00 hours to 15:00 hours on 02.05.2024, has necessitated the cancellation, regulation, and rescheduling of certain train services.
Passengers are advised to take note of the following changes:
Cancellation of trains:
- Train no. 15615/15616 (Guwahati-Silchar-Guwahati) Express scheduled to leave on May 3 to May 10
- Train no. 15887/15888 (Guwahati-Badarpur-Guwahati) Tourist Express scheduled to leave on May 4 to May 8
- Train no. 15611/15612 (Rangiva-Silchar-Rangiya) Express scheduled to leave on May 4, 6 and 9 and May 5, 8, 10
- Train no.15617/15618 (Guwahati-Dullabcherra-Guwahati) Express scheduled to leave on May 4, 6, 8 and May 5, 7, 9
Rescheduling of trains:
- Train no. 14619 (Agartala Firojpur) Tripura Sundari Express commencing journey on May 2 has been rescheduled to start at 23:10 hours instead of 15:10 hours.
- Train no. 12508 (Silchar Thiruvananthapuram Central) Express commencing journey on May 2 has been rescheduled to start at 23:50 hours instead of 19:50 hours.
- Cancellation of summer special train: Due to poor patronisation, it has been decided to cancel the special train No. 08351/08352 (Sambalpur Guwahati-Sambalpur) weekly summer special for the remaining 09 trips.
