GUWAHATI: The North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach (NECTAR) recently hosted the North East Start-Ups and Entrepreneurs’ Conclave 2024 at the Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra, with a focus on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
Aaranyak’s senior scientist, Dr Partha Jyoti Das, inaugurated a session on “Drone Simulation” on March 28 as the Chief Guest.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 25 young students who engaged in a competitive drone simulation exercise.
The conclave aimed to highlight the dynamism of the Northeast start-up ecosystem, fostering collaboration among stakeholders to promote investment, innovation, and connectivity in the region.
During his interaction with students, Dr Das highlighted the significance of drone technology in various development sectors of the country.
He elaborated on how drones can contribute to socio-economic development and natural resources management in Northeast.
