GUWAHATI: The SAPE Education Fair, India’s premier admission event, is drawing to a close in Guwahati today.
Hosted at Taj Vivanta, the two-day fair has provided students with a comprehensive platform to explore diverse career prospects and engage with top educational institutions.
This year’s edition boasted participation from over 50 renowned educational institutions nationwide, offering specialised courses in engineering, hospitality, communication, IT, nursing, architecture, and other burgeoning fields.
Students also had the opportunity to engage in one-on-one sessions with representatives, gaining insights into courses and clarifying doubts regarding the application process.
A notable addition to this year’s fair is the presence of the Indian Maritime University, marking its inaugural participation.
This offers attendees firsthand knowledge about maritime career opportunities.
The fair transcends mere information dissemination, facilitating in-depth discussions among students, parents, and institutions.
Participants also delved into details about facilities, fee structures, and personalised guidance, aiding them in making informed decisions.
In addition to complimentary entry and career counselling, students were also benefitted from a free career aptitude test.
This comprehensive assessment evaluates over 250 skill attributes, guiding individuals towards suitable professional domains.
The resulting report provided personalised insights into preferred professions and recommended courses.
For students, the SAPE Education Fair serves as a pivotal juncture, guiding them towards selecting suitable programmes and institutions.
Others utilised the event to gather valuable information, facilitating informed choices regarding their educational pursuits.
Renowned not just in India but also across Southeast Asia and Africa, SAPE has been instrumental in organising educational fairs in various countries, including Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and West Africa.
Notably, SAPE holds the distinction of being the first Indian organisation to host a fair exclusively dedicated to Indian education.
Beyond educational offerings, the fair also equips students with insights into educational expenses and scholarship opportunities.
