These speeches address core issues and reflect the government’s principles and priorities.
During the book release ceremony, Governor Kataria stressed on the importance of these books as valuable records for posterity.
He noted that the books would offer readers insights into government administration and the intricate workings of the Chief Minister’s Office.
Kataria added that they would serve as a historical record, documenting the promises made and fulfilled by the government.
Chief Minister Sarma expressed hope that the books would become essential resources for future generations.
He highlighted the significance of compiling his speeches, stating that they represent the government’s principles and priorities.
Sarma explained that while the diary encompassing his daily accounts as the Chief Minister has been published, it is not exhaustive due to the necessary secrecy in the functioning of the Chief Minister’s Office.
Addressing the transparency in the use of the royalties from the sale of the first part of the diary, Sarma revealed that the funds were directed to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
