GUWAHATI: Modern English School in Kahilipara, Guwahati, has announced a new scholarship programme aimed at supporting talented students across Assam.
This initiative, designed to nurture academic and sporting achievements, offers opportunities for students to excel.
The scholarship programme will be applicable for the academic year 2024-25 and is exclusively available for Class XI students.
Under this programme, students who score 95% or higher in their Class 10 board exams will be eligible for coveted scholarships.
Seven individuals from Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams will receive these scholarships, with two seats reserved for exceptional students from the school itself.
Additionally, three students who have won National or State level medals will be granted full scholarships for their Class XI studies.
To qualify, students must have achieved a minimum academic performance of 50% in Class X and possess Winner’s certificates from the years 2022 and 2023.
Jonali Das, the Principal of Modern English School, expressed her satisfaction with the initiative, highlighting the school’s commitment to fostering well-rounded development.

However, the school stresses on integrity and reserves the right to withdraw scholarships in cases of ineligibility or violation of terms and conditions.
Adjustments to scholarship provisions may also be made to ensure fairness and transparency.
