GUWAHATI: In commemoration of World Bicycle Day on June 3, a premium hotel in Guwahati organised a triumphant bicycle rally on Sunday, aiming to promote the manifold benefits of cycling.
The event, graced by Dr Ravi Kota, Chief Secretary of Assam, commenced with great enthusiasm.
Cycling enthusiasts and professional bicyclists alike eagerly participated in the rally, which kicked off at 5 am from the premises of Radisson Blu Guwahati.
The scenic route spanned approximately 20 km, offering participants a delightful journey through picturesque landscapes before concluding back at the hotel.
Notably, GP Singh, DGP of Assam, also joined the rally as a participant, adding to the event’s fervour.
