GUWAHATI: A remarkable 10-year-old prodigy from Guwahati, has carved her name in the annals of history by becoming the youngest recipient of the Doctorate Award conferred by the Honorary Doctorate Award Council.
In a spectacular ceremony held in New Delhi on Saturday, Aaradhyaa Dhanuka was bestowed with the prestigious Bharat Gaurav Ratna Shri Samaan Award, presented to her by acclaimed Bollywood actress Dia Mirza.
Her extraordinary accomplishments have garnered both national and international acclaim, notably including a doctorate degree in sports from the World Peace of United Nations University.
Aaradhyaa, a Class IV student of Sanskriti – The Gurukul, has exhibited exceptional prowess in sports, clinching an impressive array of titles including seven State Records, three National Records, and three World Records, earning her the esteemed moniker of the “Hula Hooping Girl of Assam”.
Beyond her sporting triumphs, Aaradhyaa’s academic and athletic feats serve as a beacon of inspiration, motivating others to transcend their boundaries and pursue excellence.
Aaradhyaa is the daughter of industrialist Dr Ghanshyam and Swati Dhanuka, and the granddaughter of social workers Dr. Ashok and Kusum Dhanuka.
The glittering ceremonyin the national capital was witnessed the presence of distinguished personalities such as Param Vir Chakra Awardee Yogendra Singh Yadav, International Wrestler Narsingh Yadav, and Judge Avnish Saxena, among others.
