GUWAHATI: On the momentous occasion of Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha at Ayodhya, the consecration ceremony of the reconstructed premises of Shri Shri Krishna Sewashram Hari Mandir Namghar at Sonaighuli, Dakhingaon, near Don Bosco School, unfolded with deep spirituality.
The newly built building of the Namghar was dedicated towards the devotees on Monday.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of earthen lamps at various corners of the namghar, a symbolic gesture representing the dispelling of darkness and the arrival of divine light.
The highlight of the ceremony was the grand unveiling of the new idols of Lord Krishna and Radha.
Amidst the soul-stirring chants of naam kirtan and harinam, the Prana Pratishtha infused the atmosphere with divine sanctity.
Enchanting nagara naam performance by talented artistes from Rangia, their rhythmic beats and melodic tunes, echoed through the surroundings, creating an immersive experience for present gathering.
Established in 1975, the Namghar, a symbol of religious and community harmony, stood witness to a day filled with sacred activities.
The reconstructed event drew devotees and well-wishers from the adjoining areas, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared reverence.
The management committee of the namghar headed by President Dilip Gogoi and members Pratibha Haloi and Jugomai Chetia expressed their gratitude to the attendees and contributors who made the occasion a resounding success.
The reconstructed premises symbolise not only a physical rejuvenation but also a spiritual renewal for the entire community.
