Guwahati: The FICCI FLO Northeast Chapter has announced its new leadership team for the 2025-26 term, marking the beginning of a new phase in its journey to empower women across the region.
The formal Change of Guard ceremony was recently held at Vivanta, Guwahati, followed by a national event at FICCI Federation House in New Delhi.
Rashmi Manchanda has been appointed as the Chairperson for the upcoming year.
She aims to strengthen the chapter’s mission of fostering growth and self-reliance among women in the Northeast.
Manchanda will be supported by a newly appointed core team, including Pronita Baruva as senior vice chairperson, Bela Nawka as vice chairperson, Latika Jhunjhunwala as secretary, Manashree Prakash as joint secretary, Neha Khandelwal as treasurer, and Geetanjali Kakati as joint treasurer.
The FICCI FLO Northeast will continue to focus on key areas such as women’s education, entrepreneurship, health, safety, skill development, and financial independence.

The new team is committed to launching impactful initiatives that will create opportunities and empower women across various sectors.
The organisation also expressed its gratitude to Joyshree Das Verma, the outgoing national President, for her leadership and contributions over the past year.
Her efforts have significantly strengthened the FLO network and inspired women to take charge of their futures.
