Guwahati: The second North East Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicle Expo (NEREVE), aimed at pushing electric mobility and renewable energy adoption in the region, will be held in Guwahati from November 21.
Organised by the Federation of Industry and Commerce of North Eastern Region (FINER), the three-day expo is positioned as a key platform to advance the Northeast’s role in India’s clean-energy transition.
“NEREVE 2025 aims to support renewable energy integration and fast-track the electric mobility ecosystem in the Northeast, highlighting the region’s strategic importance in the national clean-energy roadmap,” the organisers said in a statement on Sunday.
The event has support from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and the Ministry of Power.

This year’s edition will host 70 companies and 120 exhibition stalls, along with an open display zone where electric vehicle manufacturers will showcase current models and upcoming launches.
The expo will also feature policy dialogues, technical conferences, knowledge-sharing sessions and B2B/B2G interactions designed to link industry leaders, government agencies, researchers and innovators.
A special push has been planned to promote regional entrepreneurs and startups, offering them access to emerging technologies, market insights and networking opportunities with central ministries, PSUs and major companies.
According to the organisers, the knowledge sessions will focus on capacity-building and skill development to support the region’s growing green-energy and e-mobility ecosystem.
