GUWAHATI: In a path-breaking move towards inclusivity and equality, Dibrugarh University, on August 6, announced that it will now accept applications from students of the third gender for admission into its prestigious Masters of Social Work course.
For the upcoming academic session, the reputed collegiate public state university in Assam has opened its doors to online applications from the third gender community until August 8.
The entrance tests, both written and verbal, are scheduled to take place on August 10. Once cleared, the selected students will have the unique opportunity to pursue the course free of cost. As part of the application process, candidates must submit their graduation certificate and marksheet.
