Guwahati: Indian Bank, Guwahati Zone, successfully organised a cyber awareness and free health check-up camp at Sati Radhika Shanti Udayan on Sunday with the objective of spreading awareness on rising cyber frauds and promoting health care among senior citizens.
The programme was graced by Vineet Bajpai, FGM, Indian Bank, Guwahati; S. K. Das, FGMO, Indian Bank, Guwahati; Alok Kumar, Zonal Manager, Indian Bank, Guwahati whose presence encouraged both staff members and participants.
The event was initiated for spreading awareness about various cyber frauds including OTP scams, KYC frauds, QR code scams, digital arrest scams, and AI voice cloning frauds. The team emphasized the importance of staying alert and safeguarding personal and financial information.

As part of the social responsibility initiative, a free health check-up camp for senior citizens was organised in association with Health City Hospital, Guwahati. The medical team conducted basic health screenings and provided valuable health advice to elderly participants.
This initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from the public and reinforced Indian Bank’s commitment towards financial literacy, cyber security awareness, and community well-being.
Indian Bank continues to take proactive steps in educating customers and citizens to remain vigilant against cyber threats while also contributing to social welfare activities.
