Guwahati: Assam’s Angel Mahanta, a class 11 student of Modern English School, Kahilipara, has brought laurels to the state and the institution by clinching the bronze medal in the 10m Pistol Shooting event at the CBSE National Shooting Championship 2024-25.
Expressing immense pride, Jonali Das, Principal of Modern English School, Kahilipara, said, “We are elated to celebrate Angel Mahanta’s remarkable achievement. Her dedication, focus, and hard work have truly paid off. She has made Modern English School proud by excelling at the championship and demonstrating true sportsmanship.”
Besides, students of Modern English School have been making significant strides in various sports, including chess, yoga, table tennis, athletics, and more, at the ongoing CBSE Cluster-I tournament.
