Chirang: A road safety skit was performed on Friday at the Parade Ground in Kajalgaon in Assam‘s Chirang district.
The event, organized by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), was part of National Road Safety Month, which is being observed from January 1- 31, 2025.
This initiative aimed to raise awareness about road safety and encourage responsible behaviour on the roads.
The skit highlighted key road safety issues through engaging and entertaining performances, conveying important messages about adopting safer road practices.

Chirang District Commissioner Jatin Bora, ADC Firdous Alam Sheikh, Officials from District Administration, and heads of various departments were present to stress the importance of community participation in promoting road safety.
The event drew a diverse audience, including residents and students, all of whom actively participated.
