GUWAHATI: In a first, the Assam government and the 4 Corps of the Indian Army are set to launch a transformative mentoring and training initiative named “SUPER 30”.
This visionary programme aims to prepare the talented youth of the state for the challenging NDA/CDS examinations, opening doors for them to serve as officers in the armed forces.
On January 3, a significant milestone will be reached as a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is set to be signed between the Indian Army and the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Development (NIEDO).
The “MoU Signing Ceremony” scheduled to be held at Tamulpur Cantt on January 3, at 11:30 am, will be graced by the esteemed Minister of Education, Dr. Ranoj Pegu.
This MoU solidifies the collaboration that will bring the SUPER 30 programme to fruition.
The fully residential training programme is designed to operate at the Army Campus in Tamulpur, offering an immersive learning environment.
The SUPER 30 programme, conceptualised by the 4 Corps, stands as a pioneering effort to boost the preparation of Assam’s students, ensuring they are well-equipped for the highly competitive selection process into the armed forces.
Scheduled to kick off in the year 2024, the programme will feature two batches.
The inaugural batch is slated to commence on January 8, 2024, with the subsequent batch scheduled for April 2024.
Qualified students from the written examination will receive comprehensive mentoring to navigate the next phase of selection, the SSB.
This event aims to realise the vision of empowering Assam’s youth and shaping the future leaders of the Indian armed forces.
