Assam HS Result 2025 declared; girls outshine boys with 82.95% pass rate

Guwahati: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council declared the Assam HS Result 2025 on Wednesday(April 30).

A total of 3,02,420 students appeared for the examinations this year.

The Class 12 HS result link is available at the official AHSEC websites – ahsec.assam.gov.in, assamresult.in

The pass percentage for male students stood at 78.42 percent, while female students outperformed with a pass rate of 82.95 percent.

In the HS Arts stream, 81.03% of students passed; in Science, the pass rate was 84.88%; in Commerce, 82.18% of students passed. Meanwhile, students from the Vocational stream recorded a pass percentage of 68.55%.

In the Assam Higher Secondary (HS) 2025 Science stream, 48,309 out of the 56,909 candidates who appeared successfully passed the examination, out of an initial 57,725 applicants.

In the Arts stream, 1,83,745 candidates successfully passed the examination out of the 2,26,756 who appeared, with an initial application count of 2,30,090.

The number of candidates who passed the Commerce stream in the Assam HS 2025 results is 14,584, out of the 17,746 who appeared for the examination, from an initial application pool of 17,869.

Division-wise results for Arts stream

First division: 49577

Second division: 80650

Third division: 53518

The Assam Higher Secondary Final examination commenced on February 13 and concluded on March 17, 2025. The examination for Class 12 was held in two shifts on all days- first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
