Guwahati: Assam down town University is set to host a two-day industry-academia conclave, titled “From Campus to Corporate: Industry Interaction Sessions”, on May 23 and 24, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Guwahati. The event aims to connect students with leading global industry experts and provide insight into emerging technologies and global career pathways.
The initiative is designed particularly for students pursuing B.Tech, BBA, MBA, BCA, and MCA programs, though it is open to all academic disciplines.
The sessions will focus on bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
Industry leaders from renowned organisations such as L&T EduTech, VFS Global Academy, IBM, and SAP will engage directly with students, offering sessions on future-ready skills and innovations in various sectors.
The first day will feature L&T EduTech, with discussions centered on Semiconductors and Mechatronics, followed by VFS Global Academy addressing careers in travel, tourism, and global mobility.
On the second day, IBM will lead conversations on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Innovation, while SAP will present on Cloud ERP, HANA, and Smart Enterprise Solutions.
In recognition of academic excellence, the university will also felicitate Class 10 and 12 students from all educational boards who have scored 90% and above.
These felicitations will take place during both days of the event.

All registered participants will receive participation certificates, with complimentary lunch provided.
