GUWAHATI: Assam down town University is set to host a swimming championship on August 29 for athletes aged 14 to 18 at the university.
The competitors will compete in four categories: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
All participants will receive certificates of participation, while the top three swimmers in each category will be awarded certificates and medals.
The registration for the championship is open to the first 50 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition to the swimming competition, the university will be hosting the 10th edition of the annual job fair on August 31 at the university campus at Panikhaiti in Guwahati.
