GUWAHATI: Assam Down Town University (AdtU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and launched its innovative Industry-Academic Programme in B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) with Business Systems, on Tuesday.
The launch of the first-of-its-kind initiative witnessed an overwhelming response, signifying the anticipation surrounding this innovative programme.
Dr. KM Suceendran, Techno HR Leader at TCS, who graced the occasion as an esteemed guest, expressed his enthusiasm, stating that the collaboration with AdtU marks a significant milestone in TCS’s commitment to academic excellence.
In his captivating speech, Dr Suceendran underscored the importance of industry-academia collaboration in preparing students for the dynamic tech landscape.

“I am glad to announce the launch of our new B.Tech programme (CSE&BS) at Assam down town University in collaboration with TCS (Tata Consultancy Services),” said Dr. Utpal Barman, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Technology at AdtU.
“This innovative programme combines the academic excellence of AdtU with the industry expertise of TCS, ensuring that students receive a cutting-edge curriculum designed by TCS experts in conjunction with academic professionals,” he added.
