Guwahati: Assam down town University is all set to welcome the incoming cohort of students for the academic year 2025–26 with its formal orientation program, Abhimukh, commencing on August 1.
Meaning “a journey towards the beginning,” ‘Abhimukh’ is crafted to provide first-year students with a structured and enriching introduction to university life.
On the very first day of college, students will engage in a series of orientation activities designed to help them integrate into the academic and social fabric of the university.
From academic briefings and faculty introductions to infrastructure familiarization and guided campus tours, the orientation program ensures students feel prepared as they begin this new phase of their lives.
Adding to the excitement, the day will also feature vibrant showcases such as ‘AdtU Got Talent’, where students will take the stage to perform and express their creativity.
In addition, the Student Club Fair will offer new students the opportunity to explore and join various clubs and societies aligned with their interests from cultural and literary clubs to innovation, tech, and sports.
