GUWAHATI: Assam Down Town University (AdtU) and Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Indonesia, recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to formalise collaboration between the institutions.
The MOA outlines a roadmap for future joint initiatives, including student and faculty exchange programs, collaborative research endeavours, and the organisation of international conferences and workshops.

Additionally, Prof. Dr. Mrinmoy Basak, Director of International Affairs at AdtU, emerged as the sole Indian visiting Professor fully sponsored by the Indonesian government at the faculty exchange programme.
His participation in the programme marks a significant milestone in academic collaboration between the two nations.
Dr. Basak joined a distinguished cohort of visiting teachers from Thailand, Malaysia, Italy, Spain, and Indonesia, all supported by the Indonesian government for each government college represented.
During his visit, Dr. Basak actively engaged with the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences at UNY, immersing himself in various academic and cultural endeavours.
Participating in workshops and interactive sessions, he shared insights and best practices in sports and health education, contributing to a lively exchange of knowledge.
Leveraging his expertise, Dr. Basak delivered lectures and presentations on innovative teaching methodologies and recent advancements in Sports Science research, enriching the academic discourse.
