The Chief Minister also inaugurated an e-library and a RHAC Secretariat during the event.

During the event, CM Sarma also paid tribute to King Veer Parshuram.
“The annals of Assam are adorned with the tales of numerous brave hearts who fought to safeguard their homeland. One such hero was King Veer Parsuram of the Rabha community, who, despite leading a small army, exhibited unparalleled courage in facing the Mughal Empire.
Unfortunately, Due to leftist ideology, the history of this valiant Assamese warrior was suppressed. But now, our government has taken steps to rectify this injustice by building a memorial in his honour,” he said.
He announced various support measures for the RHAC, including a commitment to securing constitutional validity and 6th Schedule status for the council.
He further said, “Discussed ways to further cooperation between State Govt and RHAC to take forward the developmental trajectory. We are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the welfare of our people in every nook and corner of Assam.”
