Barpeta: The District Development Committee (DDC) meeting for January 2025 was held on Friday at the Conference Hall of the District Commissioner, Barpeta.
The meeting was chaired by District Development Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, ACS, and Additional District Commissioner Jayanta Bora, ACS, in the presence of heads of key departments, including Education, Health, Agriculture, Labour, and Tourism.
The DDC sought updates from the Heads of Departments (HoDs) on the implementation and progress of various government schemes and projects.
He stressed the need for timely completion of all initiatives through efficient utilization of funds and proper planning.

Highlighting the importance of innovation in governance, the DDC encouraged HoDs to adopt creative measures to achieve departmental goals and objectives effectively.
All HoDs were directed to submit comprehensive reports and ensure that pending projects were completed within stipulated deadlines.
