GUWAHATI: In a major move to enhance its domestic operations, Air India Express, a subsidiary of Air India, has for the first time launched a new daily flight between Guwahati and Jaipur.
The Guwahati-Jaipur flight is among the six new daily direct flights, including three from Chennai, and two from Kolkata, launched by Air India Express in a single day to expand its network.
The new flights launched on August 12 will operate on Chennai-Bhubaneswar, Chennai-Bagdogra, Chennai-Thiruvanathapuram, Kokata-Varanasi, Kolkata-Guwahati and Guwahati-Jaipur routes.
The airline says that five of these routes are new to the airline’s growing network, with the newly introduced Guwahati-Jaipur flight being an exclusive route served by Air India Express.
This marks a substantial boost in connectivity across key Indian cities.
