Guwahati: Over fifty students from Assam down town University‘s (AdtU) Forensic Science program have participated in an immersive educational experience at the 51 Sub Area Provost Unit, deepening their understanding of forensic ballistics.
The interactive session, held on September 27, aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
The unit’s expert personnel delivered a comprehensive lecture on forensic ballistics, covering key concepts and techniques.
Students were also given a unique opportunity to visit the unit’s crime scene room, where they received detailed briefings on evidence collection, analysis, and preservation. This hands-on exposure allowed students to grasp the intricacies of forensic investigation.
