Guwahati: Assam down town University (AdtU) is gearing up to celebrate the brilliance of educators in the Northeast with its inaugural EduELEVATE – Northeast Educators’ Conclave and AdtU Excellence Awards 2024.
The event, scheduled to be held on December 21 at The Greenwood Resort in Guwahati, aims to recognize and reward outstanding contributions to education in the region.
AdtU is inviting applications for the Award of Excellence in School Teaching. This award, carrying a prize money of Rs 1,00,000, recognizes outstanding High School teachers in Northeast/Eastern India for fostering academic excellence and innovative teaching methodologies.
The Pedagogical Excellence Award worth Rs 50,000, will honour institutions across Northeast/Eastern India for implementing innovative teaching-learning methodologies with measurable outcomes.
To be eligible for the AdtU Award of Excellence in School Teaching, candidates must be currently employed as a High School teacher in Northeast/Eastern India, should have minimum 10 years of teaching experience and proven record of introducing or improving teaching techniques.
