Assam: AdtU hosts grand Techno-Medico convergence ‘ECCLESIA 3.0’

Guwahati: Assam down town University (AdtU) has hosted ECCLESIA 3.0, an annual Techno-Medico Concurrence, at the university campus in Guwahati.

The 2-day Techno-Medico Concurrence, which commenced on November 28, is designed as a vibrant platform for students to showcase their technical abilities, creativity, and innovative spirit. ECCLESIA 3.0 aims to bring together bright young minds, creative thinkers, and technology enthusiasts from various institutions across the region.

The fest featured an exciting lineup of events, including robotics competition, hackathon, UI/UX design challenge, debate competition, animation video competition, popsicle bridge building, mobile gaming, art competition, clay modelling, fashion odessey, eclectic cookathon, photography competition, tech quiz, and tech treasure hunt.

Additionally, the fest highlighted innovative products developed by students of AdtU, offering an opportunity for the public and industry visitors to engage with fresh ideas and emerging technologies.

A total cash prize pool of Rs 3,00,000 has been announced to encourage enthusiastic participation and motivate students to present their best work.

ECCLESIA 3.0 commenced with an inauguration ceremony followed by multiple competitions running across different venues.

Day two, scheduled for November 29, will feature UI/UX competitions, animation video contests, fashion Odessey, quiz competition, and continuation rounds of the hackathon and robotics events.

With its diverse set of events and hands-on opportunities, the fest promises to create an engaging atmosphere filled with learning, collaboration, and creative exploration.

Subhash Chandra Das, Vice Chancellor, Assam Skill University, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Omkarnath Suprabhat Rath, COO – Assam Startup, Founding Member & Ex Program Director – MeitY Startup Hub, joined the ceremony as the guest of honour.

Dr. Pulakesh Chetia, Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Convener, ECCLESIA 3.0, said, “ECCLESIA 3.0 is more than just a tech fest; it is a celebration of curiosity, innovation, and the passion to create. Each year, we see brilliant minds coming together to push boundaries and explore new possibilities. We look forward to welcoming students from across the region and witnessing the remarkable ideas they bring to life.”

Echoing this vision, Dr. Manash Jyoti Borah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Chairperson of ECCLESIA 3.0, added, “Our goal with ECCLESIA 3.0 is to nurture talent, inspire creativity, and build a collaborative environment where students can learn and grow. The diversity of events ensures that there is something for every enthusiastic learner and innovator. We are excited to host this grand celebration of knowledge and ingenuity.”
