The Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) has announced a 36-hour system downtime due to ongoing cloud migration activities. According to the APDCL, the shutdown will begin at 9 pm on February 28 and continue until 9 am on March 2.
The shutdown will apply to both consumer-facing applications and internal administrative systems, which may also impact field operations and backend processes for the duration of the upgrade.
In a notice, the APDCL stated that all public as well as internal applications and portals, including the ARMS, Consumer Portal, EasyPay, MyBijulee, and BijuleeBandhu, along with other integrated applications linked to the utility’s service ecosystem shall remain temporarily unavailable.
The APDCL said, “NOTICE: Due to ongoing cloud migration, a scheduled system downtime of 36 hours from 9:00 PM 28 Feb to 9:00 AM 2 Mar 2026 is scheduled. Public & internal applications & portals including ARMS, Consumer Portal, EasyPay, MyBijulee, BijuleeBandhu & associated systems will be unavailable.”

It has advised prepaid consumers to maintain adequate balance to ensure uninterrupted electricity service during the downtime. The utility also expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to consumers and requested their cooperation while upgrade work is carried out.
“Prepaid consumers are requested to maintain sufficient balance for uninterrupted service. We regret any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and cooperation,” the APDCL added.
